chatpic was where a lot of people went to share pics anonymously. the original closed and the copies come and go. chatlobby is an 18+ chat built for the same thing, with real moderators behind it.
what carries over
the part people liked: no signup, a made-up name, and a room where pictures are the point. on chatlobby that is #sex, the 18+ room where pictures and explicit talk are allowed.
pick a name and an age and you are in. a free account (a name and a password, no email) lets you post pictures in the room.
what is different
private messages: tap anyone's name to trade one to one. swap: send a picture into the pool and get a stranger's back. groups: start your own room, public or private.
messages clear within a day, so it keeps the throwaway feel. if you want to keep your name between visits, the free account does that.
what is not allowed
