chatlobby 18 U.S.C. 2257 record-keeping requirements compliance statement

all models, actors, actresses and other persons appearing in any visual depiction of actual or simulated sexually explicit conduct made available on chatlobby were over the age of eighteen (18) years at the time such depiction was created.

we are not the producer

chatlobby does not produce, create, commission, edit or select any of the visual content that appears on it. every image on this site is uploaded by a user, to a conversation of their choosing, without prior review.

with respect to visual content submitted by users, chatlobby is a provider of a service that transmits, stores and hosts communications without selecting or altering their content, and accordingly is not a producer as that term is defined in 18 U.S.C. § 2257(h)(2)(B)(v) and 28 C.F.R. § 75.1(c)(4). the original producer of any such depiction — the user who created and uploaded it — bears the record-keeping obligations imposed by those provisions.

age policy

chatlobby is restricted to adults. every user states an age at entry and the platform refuses any age below eighteen; this is enforced in the database, not merely in the form. users additionally undertake, in the rules, that any person depicted in content they upload is eighteen or older and has consented to its distribution.

content that appears to depict a minor is removed on discovery and the account and session behind it are terminated. we report as required by law. no report of this kind is ever treated as a moderation judgement call.
